Steve created THE SMITH TEAM at the Cypresswood Golf & Country Club Sales Office in order to better assist all our clients.

 Originally from the Boston, Massachusetts area, Steve now resides in Winter Haven with his wife, Sue and son, Christopher. In his spare time, Steve enjoys waterskiing, woodworking and visiting his son at the University of South Florida. Steve attributes much of his success, as a Top-producing realtor for over 15 years, to his vast experiences which include residential building contractor, professional water skier, real estate investor and property manager.
Steve combines product knowledge, personal experience and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done to help his clients and prospects achieve their real estate goals. According to the Mid Florida MLS, Steve is #1 in sales for all of East Polk County for the first half of 2007. Steve has been the Top Producing agent for John Wood Realty for as long has he¿s been tracking it, roughly 12 years and has a long history of being the number 1 agent for Cypresswood as well.
Steve graduated from South Weymouth High, attended the University of New Hampshire and then pursued a career in Professional Water Skiing at Sea World and other shows around the world before settling down in Waterboro, Maine where he started a family and a construction business. After several cold winters in construction Steve moved with his family to Winter Haven Florida.
In 1990 after water skiing for one year again at Cypress Gardens, Steve decided to get into real estate. He joined John Wood Realty in 1993 in the Cypresswood Office. Over the years serving Cypresswood and the Southeast ,Winter Haven Area, Steve has assisted many families in buying and selling their homes and would enjoy assisting you with your real estate needs.

SUE SMITH
Sue Smith, an employee of John Wood Management, is the Office Administrator & Manager. Sue assists The Smith Team with all the daily office operations and assists with several of the homeowners associations and management duties of the company
Sue, originally from Vancouver, Canada, met Steve while professionally water skiing in West Germany and the rest is history. They were married and have worked together for over 20 years. While Steve was starting out in Real Estate in the Winter Haven area Sue performed in the Cypress Gardens Water Ski Show. She now enjoys spending her time with her Son and boating.
